For investor education SEBI has released a mobile app named "Saa₹thi" which contains educational content like basic concepts related to securities market, KYC mechanism, mutual funds, investor grievance redressal mechanism, introduction to derivatives, etc. This App is developed in Hindi and English language and is available on both iOS and Android platforms. SEBI's Recent Initiatives

1. SEBI mandated Standardized, Validated And Exclusive UPI IDs

SEBI has mandated standardised, validated, and exclusive UPI IDs (with the "@valid" handle) for all registered intermediaries to protect investors from fraud. This initiative aims to enhance payment security and transparency in the securities market. The new UPI IDs will be effective from October 1, 2025.
