Trading Technology

Trading Technology

Exchange provides a trading front-end TWS' for trading. However, if the member wants to customize the trading front-end according to his requirements, the member can do so and can develop a CTCL terminal. This facility is available to the trading member of the exchange.

The registration process of CTCL terminal is governed by the Exchange. For developing the CTCL terminal application, member has to refer an API document of the Exchange. This document describes the protocol to be used for CTCL terminal to communicate with the Exchange’s Trading System and thus serves as a development guide for the CTCL users. Alternately, the members can procure the CTCL terminal from the vendors empanelled with the Exchange.

The Exchange has made available the Computer to Computer Link (CTCL) / Internet based trading (IBT) / Direct Market Access (DMA)/ Securities trading through wireless technology (STWT)/ Algorithmic Trading (AT)/ Smart order routing (SOR) facility to the Trading Members, subject to such terms and conditions as specified by the Exchange from time to time in the Scheme Governing the use of facility relating to CTCL / IBT / DMA / AT / STWT / SOR facility (hereinafter referred to as the ‘CTCL facility scheme’). Each Trading Member willing to avail the CTCL / IBT / DMA / AT / STWT / SOR facility or any other CTCL terminal (CTCL) trading facility provided by the Exchange from time to time, shall execute an undertaking in favour of the Exchange in the format prescribed by the Exchange and agree to abide by any modifications / additions to the ‘CTCL facility_scheme’ effected by the Exchange from time to time. Submission of CTCL undertaking by the members shall be in accordance with the format provided in circular no. MSE/CTCL/17639/2025 & MSE/CTCL/18976/2026.

Note :- Offline submission of CTCL undertaking is applicable for members who avail CTCL facility for the first time. Subsequently member is required to place an undertaking submission request on Electronic MSEI Interface for Trading Members
